In 2019, Arnaud Wyrzykowsky, a French executive producer, and Pierre Félix, a production services manager with 25 years of experience in Tenerife, met and envisioned the Canary Islands as a new hub for international film production. They saw the region’s stunning landscapes and attractive tax rebates as ideal for filmmakers. Inspired, they founded *Canary International Pictures*, a production services company aimed at bridging the gap between the European film industry and global markets. Combining Arnaud’s expertise in large-scale productions and Pierre’s local knowledge, they set out to transform the Canary Islands into a "New European Hollywood," providing full-scale support for international productions and promoting the islands as a top filming destination.
